Yesterday was our (Reed and I) first day of online school. It went pretty well, even with: the freezing temperatures in our classroom (and a broken heater); many, many google hangout calls and texts about various things; Reed losing focus and watching TED Ed; and well, that’s just the beginning. I think that it will get easier as this goes on, and I have a feeling that this whole thing will become second nature eventually. One thing I wasn’t expecting was how much I’m missing my friends and teachers. I’m seeing my friends on FaceTime and Hangouts, but it’s not the same as face-to-face (and now that we’re on official quarantine…). Teachers, on the other hand, are hidden behind their websites, Google Classrooms, and lesson plans, and I miss seeing them and hearing their voices.
Yesterday, I never even got dressed. Some teachers stressed their wishes of dressed students at 9am, and that...kinda got thrown out the window. Yes, I think I might be more productive out of my pajamas, and I think I might get dressed later on, but to be honest? I think my wardrobe will consist of mostly comfortable clothing. There’s no need to really dress up in any way (sadness….), and I can see myself wearing sweatpants, pajamas, and leggings for most of the time (I do wear exercise clothes for PE, but then I change back into pajamas…). Here are my favorite comfy clothes to wear while you work/school from home and be socially distanced in general.
