Wow guys. Things are crazy. Like, on the large scale, there’s a crazy pandemic that’s changing the world in so many ways. And on the smaller scale, I feel really conflicted. I have so much time but I don’t feel like doing anything with it. I think I swing back and forth on this pendulum where one side is underreacting to all of this, and the other is overreacting; I want to wash my hands 100 times and never leave the house and maybe wear rubber gloves, and then I’m so annoyed for how big a deal everyone is making, and yes, mom, I just washed my hands!
You’ve probably noticed my posts lately, or lack thereof. I...don’t really feel like posting. Which makes me super sad, because prior to all this madness, I had some very snazzy posts planned. I don’t want to completely leave the blog right now, though. I love blogging, and everything about this thing, so I’m....compromising? (Not sure that’s the word, but, let’s roll with it, okay?)
I’m going to post photos with captions on the LATELY tab above. I don’t have social media (with the exception of Pinterest), so I don’t have a way to keep everyone updated, and like I said, I don’t want to leave altogether. That being said, I will still be posting, just keep in mind it might not be regular for a little bit. I think I need a break, and this is allowing me to still be here, just not writing long blog posts.
My original plan involved accessing weebly from any device (aka my phone) to make this even easier. That was before my phone fell off a shelf and shattered....so now the only working thing is Siri... But I’m just going to use an iPad, and we’ll see how this goes.
Additionally, I’d like to share my iPhone photos lately so, here are those!
My mom made granola a few times, and it is so good. It barely lasted more than a day, because everyone was eating it.
My mom made crepes for breakfast (which ended up being at 2pm) and I ate them with some lemon curd leftover from our High Tea while we were in London. With a little bit of powdered sugar, it was easily the best thing I’ve eaten in a few weeks.
Loving these Hydrangeas on our dining table. They make everything feel a little warmer.
Have you seen The Little Prince? I recently became obsessed with it (again), and I watched it twice this past week. (I love the plan and their seamless morning routine.)
Made my own weekly schedule. It’s been nice to have the structure, actually.
