Happy Monday! I hope everyone is doing well! I haven’t done one of these in a while, but I felt like something was missing from my content lately, and I wanted to get back into the swing of things (so that there’s some normal even though everything is crazy right now). While I definitely could wear pajamas all day (and I did for days 1+2), I would rather I was wearing something a little bit more presentable if say, my teacher were to video call me unexpectedly during the day (that happened...and I’m glad I got dressed that day!). I think it’s on the nicer end of what I’ve been wearing lately, but I am really feeling a need to not feel gross—something Carly said about a week ago that really resonated with me.
This was a birthday gift and I love how versatile it is! I feel like I keep coming up with ways to wear it—it’s not to casual, but definitely can be dressed down if needed. That said, it’s still nice enough to wear to something nice (yeah...not sure what TBH...).
I’ve had this for over a year (actually I have two: one in grey and one in navy) and it’s the perfect thing. At one point, I would wear it to school (it was a phase that I have since outgrown), and then later to a party, etc. I love how simple and classic it is. It’s pretty annoying to iron, but I think it’s worth it because it is so perfect.
These are hand-me-downs from Katelyn, but they’re in pretty good shape and I really like them! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a link, but I also have these and LOVE THEM! They are really comfortable, and while they are black, I think they are very snazzy (I can branch out on colors, can’t I? 😉). Also, guys, the scallops?!?! (See any post from the past ~week~ and the word scallops will BE THERE! Just browsing scalloped anything is like 60% of what’s getting me through this crazy time)
To end this post, I’m going to remind you (along with everyone else in the world—but it’s serious!) to STAY. HOME. Really! Even if you’re not in “the profile” or anything, seriously do it to protect those who are at risk. I’m sending happy thoughts right now—please stay healthy and safe!
